The frame is extremely nice-looking, seems sturdy and stable. No spring hinge; however, they did fit well and do not look cheap. The cleaning cloth is too small and cheap. The case is plastic with no tab at closure, making it difficult to open. There are no hard lines where the lenses progress. I had no trouble finding the varying distances when worn as have been wearing progressives for over 10 years. I don't like the filter that takes the clear white page on a computer screen or book to grey, for which I find very difficult to adjust to. (I realize the filter is important for the blue light issues.) Personally, I can see the computer the same with or without these glasses, except for white page looking grey and difficult for me to see the text clearly; not using these glasses is much more clear. I notice no lens power change from distance to reader when looking at reading material (not on the computer). I cannot comment on the photochromic feature, as would not use outside since not very usable inside, and would not feel safe using these outside for any reason. Although these do what they are advertised and described to do, these are not useful to me. However, I do like the frame well enough to have a set of prescription reader lenses placed by my eye doctor! Therefore, because these do what they are described to do in terms of computer/reading work (can't comment on the outdoor darkening aspect)—just not for me, and a nice, quality frame with an average case, and cheap cloth, I give 4-stars.

These glasses are astoundingly able to correct vision of close up reading that needs some magnification, as well as turning dark in bright sunlight, and also they look like legitimate prescription glasses. They seem to adjust like bifocals or trifocals but based on the typical amount of correction needed instead of being exactly tailored to your individual sight. These are not an exact replacement for your prescription glasses that result from an eye exam, but they are something you can use if you need them for safety (like reading medication labels closeup) and also adjust in the sunlight. An eye doctor appointment is irreplaceable but if you can't get there or you can't afford it, these seem to make adjustments as would typically be needed. They look and feel like prescription glasses and either I am exactly typical or they really are suitable for anyone. I am not sure which is the case! They might or might not correct your vision appropriately but they do look like prescription glasses and make you feel smarter.

My Eyes are getting older and maybe you need a little correction / magnification but don’t want to pop $400 for glasses. These glasses are just a slight 1.5 correction making small print and work slightly larger. Since they are Progressive the magnification is strongest at the bottom of the lens for close up work, weaker toward the middle for computer screens. There is no magnification toward the top to allow for distance viewing. These glasses are a step up from drug store readers where you don’t have to wear them low on your nose and stare over the top of the frame to see clearly. Strong metal frames with non slip temples, and blue blocking coated lens, make the product look and feel premium. They also have photochromic or a transition type lens, that darken in bright UV sunlight. The picture shows just one side changing, to compare going clear to dark. There is no longer a need to switch between reading glasses and sunglasses, and they stay comfortable. Includes a protective case and cleaning cloth.

The photochromic lenses works. From being clear indoors then transitioning to dark outdoors. As for the frame, it is very good quality, sturdy, and fits well. But periodically check the frame screws for tightness. Overall it is a great value I do recommend no more than 2.0 diopters. For reading anything above that, one's vision starts to distort. To the point its beyond usable for everyday use. Your own vision may have different results.  PS: Recently had corrective cataract surgery.
